When Sash Windows are painted shut

It is a very common problem! Years of layered paint build up and after a certain point in time the window will no longer open. Really the only course of action at this point is to expertly remove the excess paint whilst not damaging the window, sanding it back appropriately and repainting the sash and casement windows professionally.
